A forensic expert, researcher, and academician.

She pursued her graduation in homoeopathic medicine and surgery. Furthermore, completed her master's degree in Forensic Sciences. She has a specialization in forensic biology, biotechnology, and DNA analysis.

Dr Joshi is a representative of the Interdisciplinary Education in Forensic Science (IEIF) institution in Brazil, and also a member of the Association of Forensic Odontology for Human Rights (AFOHR).

Dr Joshi has been working as an assistant professor and guest lecturer, alongside being a subject expert at medical and para-medical institutes. During her forensic career, she has published research articles in journals of repute Forensics.

She has also attended many seminars, workshops and conferences and served as a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and faculty development programs. Her area of expertise is forensic medicine, forensic biology, biotechnology, DNA fingerprinting, age estimation, disaster victim identification, ballistics, forensic engineering, and crime scene investigation and management.
